Description
cinnamon and tobacco adding depth to the plum and mulled cherry flavors
although the 2010 vintage of this wine was shortly to be released when I visited the estate (but I did not get a chance to taste it)
but that's what gives this its spice
A more elegant and cooler nose reflects notes of red berry coulis
One to tuck away
Raymond Usseglio, Chateauneuf Du Pape Imperiale other_regions cinnamon and tobacco adding depthDark and ripe, with very friendly raspberry ganache, blackberry coulis and melted licorice notes that carry through the broad, fleshy finish. Densely layered and not shy with its fruit driven profile, but there's more than enough graphite edged grip to keep this honest. Should mellow nicely in the cellar. Best from 2014 through 2025. 75 cases imported. JM
